Artist Bio

Originally born Anthony ‘Ajuju’ Ojeah, from the oil rich Delta State of Nigeria was a member of the choir growing up as the lead vocal singer and hence fell in love with music, this led to him writing his own music and training his musical skills as he grew until he was involved in a competition in 2006 where he had to write a song with the theme ‘More’ which he did but didn’t win for political reasons.

In January 2008 he went into partnership with Homeland Entertainment after they had listened to his single ‘MORE’ and fell in love with his raw talent. In turn the song became his first hit single.

The video was shot in South Africa in order to be sure of the best quality. This single debuted on MTV ÉXCLUSIVE’ and was on the show for 2 weeks and was no.3 on the Soundcity countdown for 2weeks, top 5 videos on NTA & Silverbird.

Ajuju debuted as a performer on the stage of the Calabar Cultural Carnival which holds every December in Cross Rivers State in the year 2007 and got off stage with a standing ovation, since then he has mounted the stage for other performances in South Africa and Nigerian based shows such as ‘Rhythm unplugged’ Xmas show 2008, ‘Live with AY’ December 2008, ‘AQUA SELECT’ swim suit model search in March 2009, ‘Green White Green’ Democracy Day Carnival May 2009 and is also in talks with Guiness to go on a nationwide tour of 26 states in Nigeria and also a line up of shows in the UK and America later on this year.


Songs by Ajuju can be heard on radio stations such as Cool Fm(Dj Manny), Inspiration Fm(Shola Thompson), Rhythm Fm(Bigtyme), Top radio(Tosyn Bucknor), Wazobia Fm(Matse), only to name a few. His songs are on the charts on all these stations.
